The Hope is We Have So Much to Feel Good About

Oh dear, I can’t believe it’s been a year since I last blogged.
New Year's is old news now, but things finally slowed down enough for me to talk about it. Anyways, New Year's Eve we just stay up (this normally requires a large amount of soda), watch fireworks, and make a bunch of noise. It's fun, but I've always considered it another night/day. This year was different though. You know that I like the reminisce, so I was thinking about this past year and I’ve decided that it has been the best year “in the history of the world.” I've tried my best to create a very brief list of my favorite events during 2010.

You know it's going to be a good year when 20 minutes in you're crying from laughter.

Illegal picture taken on the way to the DMV when my three month driving ban was over. It was also an illegal drive because I technically didn't have a license. But how are you supposed to get out there to pick it up?
I couldn't have asked for a better night than this. You know those times when everything goes perfectly? Well, this was one of those times.
The whole month of May was one long trip down memory lane. I could write a book about everything I was thinking about. Luckily for you, I'll just show you my two favorite places to be at PHS.

Spent about 30 minutes here for approximately 300 lunches.

I can't even begin to explain how important Room 511 is to me. Not just the room, but also the people that I spent time with there.

Then of course, there was graduation itself. All of the graduates with distinction (a.k.a. G’s with D) decided to give our speech as a group. Giving my part of the speech was amazing. It was one of those times when you're completely content with what is happening. More than that, it was a "God is so great" moment. Yes, this happened while standing in front of a couple thousand people.

This is what I was looking at when everyone was looking at the 27 of us giving our speech.

Since I was so pumped, I was never nervous. Of course, this helped too.
When I saw this in the paper I about peed myself with excitement. Paige is in the paper all the time, but I am not. This picture makes me smile every time I see it.

During this year I realized that one of the most annoying people I’ve known became one of my best friends.

He joined a pretty cool club...

Then there is Weber (Wee-Brr). I love everything about this place. Well, not the freezing temperatures but the views make up for that.

Lastly, there are all of the new people I've met. They're amazing, and because of them I know that Ogden is exactly where I'm supposed to be.

Thinking about everything that happened this past year brings the biggest smile to my face. Side note: Why do you say it brings a smile to your face? Where else would a smile be brought to?
Bring it 2011, just try to beat 2010. I dare you.
